Has anyone else noticed that's it's almost always a relative or spouse "kidnapping" some mexican kid and driving to Mexico? In this case, 3 kids. I say....take a whole carload back home with you, please. Sorry, but I'm still worked up about the illegal cost to us, etc...... Evil or Very Mad

another amberita alert today.

Some gov't agency broke into the KFI broadcast and said some girl had been kidnapped from LBeach. Then the alert got cut off.

Truthfully, I don't want radio and tv broadcasting broken into unless it is a major emergency that threatens a large portion of the populace.

Someone kidnapped somewhere does not qualify as a dire emergency to the public at large.

Aww, did I miss an Amber Alert?...and dammit, I agree. If there's Breaking Freakin News, it had better be something that brings out the sharpshooters, or the emergency personnel or geological society, in California, or else a Declaration of World War III.

To me, it just gets worse and worse. Like the Cry wolf...story. Just how many times in the last month, for example..have we had to endure "breaking news?"

So glad I turned off KFI after Jeff Levy (and halfway thru that)...Saturday afternoons and nights, I boycott KFI. For me, it's PBS, home and garden and cooking shows.

correct me, if I'm wrong, but the last 10-20 "amber alerts"..haven't they in actuality been a case of some relative taking another to Mexico for a little visit?

Be on the look out for Jose Lopez who has taken Lolita Gonzalez, age 12, to central America to meet his family prior to their marriage.

Lolita's mother, Maria Garcia, age 24, was rumored to be the former common law wife of Jose Lopez.

Lopez is said to be driving a late model car or a 30 year old junker.
