NOOOOOO! They can't cancel Coast to Coast!!! I mean...sometimes there's some pretty screwy people on there...have you heard the one where the guy was saying that Jesus, God, and Santa Clause were all mushrooms? haha...anyway...I still think its interesting..if they cancel it I'm going to be angry Evil or Very Mad

I dunno, but Art Bell is REALLY obnoxious tonight, basically giving the bum's rush to a long time guest....another boring scientist, but none the less..........

I'm not listening to Art Bell tonight, seeing as I left my stereo in the car and i'm too lazy to go outside and get it..Art Bell is okay I guess...but I like George Noory better.

Ok, crap!... CRAP! WTH, man!? I love Coast to Coast only because its like unwinding radio. Yeah, there's Bill to start your morning off, then Rush to get down to business, then Laura to nag at your conscience, then J&K picking on Chris Little, then (yes, there are days where I listen to all of them in one day) there's Phil with his multi-personality disorder, then George to just totally go off topic about everyday things for the night.... I cannot have this lineup fouled up!

At least and at last it looks like Johnnie Windhole may be gone.
He got prempted last weekend by the big mole in the ground aka sodom hussy.

I'm sorry "Coast to Coast" fans, you night owls! I never listened, I usually don't listen after John and Ken, I'm usually busy at that time, I review children's book, do orders, post here, hehehehe! my obsession! Now I wish I had listened, you guys were fans, I'm sure I would've been as well.

I'm going to do so more "research" on this....I'm hoping that gig is only on the weekends???

I prefer George Noory too, over Art Bell, who's only on weekends for now.
I can't imagine KFI deleting Coast to Coast entirely.

I'll keep you posted if I see anything further.

There has GOT to be a misprint somewhere - Coast to Coast AM is the #1 rated overnight show in America AND it was someone from Clear Channel that got Art Bell back on weekends in the first place - so I can't see this guy taking over (even if it is only a 10pm to 1am slot). Evil or Very Mad

I thought CTC took a bad ratings hit when Mike Seagal (sp?) took over? Art Bell always quitting doesn't help either.

Crimson, how did you find out about this? Something doesn't seem right - it seems like this guy has a sports-related kind of show, so why KFI???? Maybe he meant KFI's partner 1150/690 AM - the sports station. This seems really weird if it IS KFI, because they would have to play a "taped version" of Coast to Coast AM from 1am to 5am followed by Handel, which would not enable callers from the greater LA area to call in appropriately. I just can't believe KFI would do this Surprised

i am pretty sure the sub guy that has been on KFI is John Zigler, not Zeigler. i say this cuz i know a guy named Zeigler and kept calling the radio guy Zeigler and then heard him say Zigler.

Melinda Lee is going to be moving from KFI to KNX 1070 starting Jan 3rd Sad

Sad to see her go - I don't cook, but I always liked listening to her pleasant voice every weekend. The program schedule on KFI weekends indicates "Food Talk Radio" in her time slots.

Awww. I really like Melinda Lee, she's so nice. It was always fun to listen to all the frazzled people call in and say "OMG Melinda...I blew up my kitchen...HELP!!" And then she would always have the solution and they would be like "oh..thankyou so much"..haha...well at least she'll still have her radio show, even if its not on KFI Neutral

I'm going to check John Z. out this afternoon while he covers for John and Ken:

"My first day on the air there as a full-time host will be January 12th. I will be on from 10pm-1am pacific time. I will also being filling in from 3-6 pm pacific time on December 26th, January 1st and 2nd. KFI can be heard through the Internet at www.kfi640.com."

Maybe he'll mention his 10pm to 1am gig, and clear this up for us.

By the way, has anybody heard how long John and Ken will be out?

I'm not complaining, at least we're able to listen to the "Best of John and Ken", but I'm curious as to whether they'll be in next week at all.

Zeigler confirmed that he will be taking the 10PM slot after the new year. All the more reason to listen to MY show on Talk Radio 790 KABC!!! Don't forget, it's "no guests, no topics, and no screeners!"

I didn't hear the whole show....only the first hour....about jewels as gifts to women. I wasn't very impressed, second time that I've listened to him.

I have to wonder about Coast to Coast though.

DV, is it possible for you to listen to it on the net since it's heard nationwide?

I guess I'll be listening to Doug McIntyre in the wee hours. He's good though.
